What if that which an individual sees as Beauty - describes as beautiful - is a momentary experience of recognition of that which physicists seek as the unifying principle? To experience beauty seems to be an experience of resonance. Something resonates within us (landscape; leaf; painting; book; water; a particular instrument or piece of music; mountain; waking to a lover - or a stranger; a voice; a whale's eye; a gracious gesture or act of kindness; and on and on forever)– something captures or touches our heart and our senses; evokes a sense of connection or allurement and in that transcending moment, we touch a oneness with all creation. What if that moment is a window into creation itself? What if the 'greatness' of art is a statement of measurement on the breadth, depth and timelessness of that window?
